Weeks (DAE) Ltd announces a change to the trading name to Weeks (East Africa) Ltd. This change was considered appropriate to more accurately reflect the company trading status

6th November 2009
Construction works commence on Buffalo East 1 & 2 and Crocodile 2 wellsites and access tracks in Block 1, Uganda for Heritage. Work is expected to take some 6-8 weeks to complete.

5th November 2009
Construction works commence on Likonde 1 wellsite and access track in Tanzania for Tullow. Work is expected to be completed early in December.

8th September 2009
The pre-FEED Study of the Waalwijk Underground Gas Storage Project kicks off in Holland. The Study is due to be completed during 1Q2010.

22nd June 2009
WEEKS are commissioned by Star Energy to provide contract management services in connection with the pre-FEED Study of the Waalwijk Underground Gas Storage Project, Holland. Tenders from suitable qualified contractors from the UK and Holland will be requested shortly.

 


Established as a Practice of Surveyors and Engineers in 1982, Weeks (UK) Ltd was incorporated in 1986. First international work was carried out in 1991. A branch office was opened in Bangladesh in 1995 following the incorporation of Weeks (Bangladesh) Ltd.

In 1999 a local firm of quantity surveyors/CDM co-ordinators DAE Associates was purchased and Weeks (DAE) was incorporated.
